Thankful...

My goodness!!! It has been quite a while since I posted anything. Between the kiddos being sick and then track break and our vacation time seemed to just slip away.

Here is my latest creation titled... Thankful For Our Patch. I have a complete kit available for purchase for only $18 plus the cost of shipping (unless you are in the Las Vegas area). The kit includes all of the Designer Series Paper, Cardstocks, and pre-cut Title/Subtitle (customized for you). I have even included pre-cut pumpkin leaves and stems. You also receive color step-bt-step instructions for completing the project and on how to create computer generated journaling strips. Please place your order by the 9th of November if you would like to have your kit in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

I hope you enjoy...

If you have any questions regarding this layout, would like a flyer with all of the kit details, or to make a kit purchase please contact me at:

Have a fantastic day!!!

Watermelon...

You know the sound that watermelon makes when it crashes to the ground??? I can't get that sound out of my head! Nichole fell head first out of the shopping cart yesterday and it was horrible! Thank God she is okay, it is such a miracle; you can't even see the bruise today.

In light of the craziness around my house the past few days I have been a little delinquent in creating and posting. Here is a peak at a mini-album I will be teaching in my Thursday Night Therapy - Intermediate Scrapbooking Class this week...

I am having issues with picture quality! I hope you can see this okay. The album was inspired by fellow Stampin' Up demonstrator Linda Heller and http://www.stampinschool.com/.

Time...

I just completed a new layout titled "Time". I was inspired by this really neat clock I saw in a magazine. Let me know what you think by posting a comment...

The photos are Nichole's One Year Old picture session.

All Aboard...

I think I must have been crazy during my last pregnancy. In this layout I had just been taken off of my Picc Line and not even a week after we took this trip to CA and spent several days at Disneyland. Crazy!!!!

Anyhow, this particular layout is of a boat ride we took out of Shorline Village. The girls were playing on the stairs and it reminded me of the famous "I'm the King of the World" scene in Titanic. I still need to add the journaling about that!

What was really great was the Captain of the ship let the girls each have a turn at the wheel.

I hope you enjoy this layout... I will be teaching it in my Basics Thursday Night Therapy (TNT) Class this week.

Holiday Weekend...

I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. We have been so far... it has been very busy! Mike and I had a date night last night. It was nice to go out to dinner and a show. We saw a sign for free movies under the stars over by Green Valley Ranch and The District. Has anyone tried going before? I think I am going to check into it for next time.  We are trading off babysitting tonight with my sister so she can have a date night with her hubby. I think this is a good plan!

Anyhow... off to get ready for church. I will be posting some new layouts within the next few days.

Hmmmm... Honey I NEED to place an order!

Makaela had her open house tonight at school. She was so excited to show Mike and I around the school. It is wonderful to see how enthusiastic she is! I hope she always enjoys learning like this.

RoseMarie is such an imaginitve person. I was watching her tonight when she didn't notice. She was sitting at the table with her "Polly Pocket" princess dolls and they were just having the most animated discussion you could imagine. I wonder if she will always be one who can think outside the box.

Little Nichole is growing so fast. Her newest thing is to "read" books. She gets a book, usually her baby Bible, and sits and reads aloud using the softest yet highest pitch noises. She is in her own little world with a book in her hands.

Life with these little ones is going by so quickly. I wish I could scrap every moment for them, yet if I were I would miss out on so many moments while worrying about capturing them on paper. Who knows... maybe if I purchase the new Digital Scrapbook Software Stampin' Up Just released to it's Demonstrators (soon to be released to customers) I could accomplish more pages. It coordinates with all of their existing products and had been receiving rave reviews. Hmmmm.... honey I NEED to place an order!

100%

So tonight I am thinking school layouts. My first grader Makaela brought home her first spelling test. I did't even know she had taken a spelling test last Friday but she passed it with flying colors... 100%. We also got word today that she won the coloring contest at our local Office Max. Yippy! Now I have some insiration for the layouts for the Thursday Night Therapy Classes (basics and intermediate scrapbooking) for next week.

I am off to sleep now. Thought I broke my hand today (I was attacked by the killer vacuum) and typing is not helping it to feel better. I think ice and sleep are required.

Miracle - Jumping Frog

I just completed my layout titled "Miracle" which includes the latest and greatest version of my jumping frog. I am so pleased with how this layout worked out. Notice the patterned paper used for the title circle next to my jumping frog... it says Miracle. This layout was created for my nephew who truly is a little miracle from God. He went through so much the first few weeks of life and even after a blood transfusion things were touch and go for a while. This one is for you Jonny!!!
If you would like to know how to make this jumping frog and the accompanying layout please consider signing up for the Intermediate Level Scrapbooking class I teach on Thursday nights which has been affectionatley named "Thursday Night Therapy" by my students. For more information on my Intermediate or Basics Classes please contact me today. If you are not available Thursday evenings or live out of town the directions for this layout can be purchased seperately. My contact information for either is below:

Jumping Frog - Preliminary Photo

I began work on my jumping frog page tonight. With a few twists on a moveable frog made from punches that I have seen made by several talented scrappers/stampers I am happy with what I came up with. The photo is  a close-up of the first attempt at making my froggy. The layout and some of the mechanics are still a work in progress... plus I have to get the froggy paper I need!
I hope you enjoy. If you try one of your own please e-mail me a picture to share with everyone.

Jumping Frogs in My Head

Today was a long day of grocery shopping and running errands and I am looking forward to some creative time tonight after the kiddos are snuggled up in bed. I have been working on the idea in my head all day about how to make the "jumping frog" scrapbook layout that I want to make. I think I've got it figured out so we shall see how it translates onto paper. I can't wait to try it because I think it will be super cute. I will see if I can figure out how to upload it as a photo on here... that may take me longer than making the layout! I can't play too late tonight because we need to be to church early tomorrow to set-up and I am volunteering in the nursery. I hope everyone has had a fabulous weekend so far...

P.S. Don't forget if you are interested in becoming a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and joining my team that the last day for the Stampin' Up Special Starter Kit with the low low low price of only $85 ends on Monday!
