Card Class - Christmas

Hey there! Finally getting the photos up for the card class on the 7th. Sorry they are not the best of quality. The first card which is in more traditional colors can have a greeting placed inside or a 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 size landscape wallet photo. The retro color Christmas card features the colors we used in our last class and is pretty while also being simple and quick!

Class is at 5:30pm on the 7th. Remember if you do not live in the area or are unable to attend a kit is still available to you at the same price ($10) plus shipping.

Quick and Easy Frame Layout

Today I am sharing a quick and easy layout that is wonderful for a 12X12 frame. Great gift giving idea as well!

I am going to do my best to get back on the wagon with regular posts. Thank you all for your patience as I have slacked off lately with all that has been going on in my personal life.

Card Class

I am super excited to be offering a card class again. I have done them in the past and had to take some time off from doing so. It was so convenient to have cards for many occasions to grab at a moment's notice. For this first class I am recreating two cards straight out of the Idea Book & Catalog. Every time I thumb through the IB&C these two cards (found on page 98) catch my eye. So without further adieu...

Class will be held on Monday, October 10th at 5:30pm.
Cost: $10
We will be making three of each design.
Don't forget your scissors, adhesive, and Stampin' Dimensionals.
Please RSVP to reserve your card kit!

I am super excited to be the proud owner of the Build-A-Bear DieCut! I am having so much fun with this new diecut and in preparation for my middle daughter RoseMarie's upcoming birthday party at Build-A-Bear I have created this layout.

Hopefully from the angle you can see the dimension of the layout.

Close-Up of the first bear.

Close-Up of the Second bear.
This layout will be for our next Monday Night Me Time scrapbooking class.
Class will be held on Monday, October 10th at 6pm.
Cost for the kit is $20. If you are a grandfathered in member you know what your discount is.
There will be the option of boy or girl bears and a few color options as well. When you RSVP please let me know if you want both girl / both boy / or one of each gender for the bears as well as if you want any pink on the layout or not.

Changing Things Up

So today instead of sharing more regional projects I decided to show you the swaps I made for regionals.

I LOVE my first one with the apple. It was so fun to make and I think it would be great to use for teacher appreciation week later in the school year. The second card I struggled with. I did my backgrounds and my base and then the original idea I had for the designed element was not cute as I had envisioned it. (Supposed to be a coffee cup.) Anyhow, I stared at this card for days trying to come up with plan two and the heart is the result. I still wish it had more flare. Needless to say I swapped all of the apple cards and wound up with only some heart cards left at the end of the day!

Stampin' Up Remake - Edition 2

I just loved this card I saw in a bonus insert in scrapbooks etc. magazine. The design by Polly Maly was clean and simple and the end result really caught my eye. So for this reason I decided to remake this card as my second edition of Stampin' Up Remake. I hope you enjoy!

My rendition using only SU Products.

Birthday Hat Favor Box & Card

I can't wait to get my hands on the directions for this project created by Julie. Her project is being featured on Craft Project Central.
The last couple of birthdays the kiddos have had I have wanted something unique for the party favors. Well, I think this fits the bill! Party favors can get crazy expensive and I always wind up with a bunch of little plastic toys all about the house when my kiddos come home from a party so I have been wanting to think outside the box. This little party favor hat could hold a little something for the kiddos to take home and provides a unique place that they will want to store their "treasure" in.

Check back in the next few days... when I get one card all set to go I will post it here for you along with a color challenge to boot!
