Aikido Class / Self Defense Badge Layout

So I decided to play along with a challenge for a SU group I am on and design a layout. Since I was under a little bit of a time crunch I designed this layout in the My Digital Studio software from Stampin' Up and was really pleased with the results. The super cool thing about MDS is that you can size the stamps and buttons and any other elements you add to the size you choose! It is great... yup, really great. I also added each child's name to their photo so later on down the road others who are viewing this layout will be able to tell who the photos are of.

 

The photos are of my girls and a few friends taking an Aikido class to earn their Self Defense Badge for Girl Scouts. I'd love to hear what you think.

Scrapping Time...

Sorry the photo quality isn't a little better!

Getting ready to do a little cardmaking and scrapping. Trying to figure out how to design RoseMarie's kindergarten graduation pages. Here is the invitation I made for her graduation. I used the Forest Friends Stamp Set and Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up. Rose chose this stamp set out of all of my sets because she loves the deer!

Here is a layout I did quite a while back using some retired SU Designer Series Paper. I never got around to putting photos on... such a shame. Well, now it has photos and I love how it turned out. What do you think?

I bet you have a layout or two or three sitting around waiting for photos. Here is my challenge for you: On a day when you would like to scrap but don't have a lot of time pull out some of those layouts and order your photos. Then the next time you want to scrap and don't have a lot of time you can finish the layout up!!!

New Blog Design

What do you think of the new blog design? I created it with My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up. I really LOVE all of the things you can do with this software!!! I have recently purchased new downloads to go with the software and I am really impressed with the price and what I can do with the downloads. Can't wait to play some more. Hopefully I really will keep up on blogging this time around... and I will show you some projects and things you can do with My Digital Studio.
