Craft Project Central

I am super excited about the news I am getting to share with you... I am going to be a guest deigner on Craft Project Cental starting in the month of July. I couldn't be more thrilled. I can't share the project that I will be doing yet but I will give you a few teaser details that it is a summer photo easel and photo box. My project will feature a new Simply Scrappin Kit called Playful Polka Dots that will be available in the Stampin' Up catalog that comes out July 1st.

I will be sharing more details about Craft Project Central, adding a link for you to go there, and sharing my progress with you soon.

Stampin' Up Remake... New Feature

So I have been inspired once again by another Stampin' Up Demonstrator. She recently started taking cards she found in magazines and remaking them in all SU product. You can see her blog and projects here. I LOVED her remakes and the idea so much I decided to do it too (with her blessing of course)! I will be featuring cards, scrapbook pages, 3-D projects, whatever tickles my fancy and remaking them using all SU product. Here is my first take...

So what do you think? It is a little busier than what I would normally create but I was itching to play with the new Simply Scrappin Kit (Playful Polka Dots) available in the catalog which comes out July 1st.

Altered Notebook

This week I am participating in a challenge with a Stampin' Up group I am involved in. The challenge is called Animal Antics and you are supposed to create something with an animal or bug theme. I figured if bugs count then butterflies are in too!!! Here is the altered notebook I created along with a few matching 3X3 cards.

The paper used is retired Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up called Afternoon Tea. The notebook is one I picked up on clearance quite a while ago at Target. The butterflies are cut out using my fabulous BigShot and Butterflies Embosslits Die from Stampin' Up as well.

30th Invite

So after a week in the hospital I am still feeling pretty yucky. Hoping I feel up to the all day birthday crop I have planned for my 30th. Here is a picture of the invite I created before I landed myself in the hospital.

(In the chaos of my being sick I hope I didn't miss getting the invites out to anyone here in the Vegas area. If you are in Vegas and didn't receive one yet please let me know!)
